Get your music on TheOverflow
Thanks for your interest in distributing your music on TheOverflow!
All of the music on TheOverflow is delivered by labels and digital music distributors. At the moment we are not taking direct submissions. This is to ensure that all of the music on TheOverflow is fully licensed and prevents illegal or unlicensed music from being uploaded by 3rd parties.
Getting your music on TheOverflow is easy. Whether you have a label deal or not, you can get your music up on TheOverflow and get paid for every one of your streams.
If you already have a deal with a label or distributor:
TheOverflow likely already has a deal with your label or distributor. All you need to do to get your music on TheOverflow is ask them to make your music available on TheOverflow via our aggregator, MediaNet. If you have only recently signed to them then it may take a few weeks for your music to be delivered to TheOverflow.
If you do not have a deal with a label or distributor:
Don’t worry, you can still get your music on TheOverflow.
We currently work with
DistroKid (Recommended for most. Best price for artists)
- TheOrchard (theorchard.com/music-distribution)
- Tunecore (tunecore.com)
- CD Baby (cdbaby.com)
- Syntax Creative (syntaxcreative.com)
To make sure your content flows through to us seamlessly, please ensure your music metadata includes the tags “christian” or “gospel”. For those using Tunecore, you will need to select “MediaNet” as a distribution outlet, and that will get your content to us
These services will handle the licensing and distribution of your music and will also administer the royalty payments that accrue from your streams on TheOverflow. There is usually a small fee or percentage cut involved in using these services.
